Duplex Products Reduce Chemical Use in Hospital by a Staggering 90%

Duplex Cleaning Machines would like to congratulate REDHS, a prominent Victorian country hospital and aged care facility, who were recently a finalist in the Victorian Premiers Sustainability Awards.

REDHS, a long time customer of Duplex Cleaning Machines, had undertaken a series of major changes to reduce their environmental footprint. To do so REDHS decided to implement a variety of new equipment, cleaning methods, and structural changes to substantially reduce environmental impact including water use, chemical use, electricity use, and waste. Below is a comment from their Environmental Chairman:

"We were not aware of the amount of water and chemical we were using and the damage we were inflicting on the environment. We then reviewed alternative ways of cleaning and found that by using steam machines we would not require chemicals. Steam cleaners were then trailed for one month, the results were impressive, cleaning standards were well exceeded, along with the numerous applications the machine could be used for. We have since purchased five Duplex steam cleaning machines and have heavily reduced our water use and chemical use by 80%."
